 Josh has a passion for creating music that takes listeners on an all immersive, encompassing, and emotional journey. At age 15, he began composing music in response to his grandmother undergoing successful cancer treatment and has since written, arranged, and produced countless pieces throughout his career. Josh is inspired as a composer by large scale ideas and global relief efforts that are most dear to him. His goal is to provide a musical outlet of peace and joy to the world around him, through custom scoring, music production, and independent compositions. 

Cassandra Martinez grew up in the vibrant city of San Antonio, TX, in a family of educators who instilled in her a love for learning and a passion for music. From a young age, she developed a deep connection to the piano, finding joy in each note and rhythm, which would later serve as her greatest source of strength.

In her senior year of college, Cassandra faced a life-altering challenge when she was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. Rather than allow this diagnosis to define her, she approached it with unwavering determination and resilience. Though she had to drop out of college immediately to begin chemotherapy treatment, her spirit remained unbroken. With the support of generous scholarships like the Dear Jack Foundation Music Scholarship, she returned to school after a year and completed her degree. In May 2018, she triumphantly graduated with a Bachelor of Music and a teaching certificate, a testament to her perseverance and faith.

Throughout her treatment, Cassandra discovered the profound healing power of art and music, thanks to a nonprofit organization called HeartsNeedArt. This organization provides art and music therapy to patients in hospitals and chemo clinics, allowing her to find solace and inspiration during her darkest days. From 2018 to 2019, she worked for HeartsNeedArt, playing piano for patients in the very clinic where she had once received treatment, sharing her gift of music and offering hope to others facing similar battles.

In 2020, Cassandra met her soulmate, and they joyfully married in 2022. Now five years post-treatment and thriving, she continues to inspire the next generation as a Catholic music teacher for students from Pre-K through 8th grade. Her journey has taken her from Texas to California, and now to Ohio, where she and her husband are embracing the adventure of life together.

Cassandra’s current goals are not only to share the healing power of music with her students but also to start a family of her own. With each new chapter, she carries the hope and faith that have guided her through life’s challenges, proving that resilience and love can illuminate even the darkest paths.
